Cool Project Alert:
StoryCorps Dedicates Its Grand Central Booth

This is one of my favorite projects: StoryCorps. In February, the flagship StoryCorps booth in Grand Central Station was dedicated to Danny and Annie Perasa. Read about the dedication and more about Danny and Annie here.

I just love what this project is all about -- sharing and recording people's stories. StoryCorps has its booths -- in fixed locations and mobile units, but it also encourages you to simply do-it-yourself.

We all have stories. We all have amazing stories. StoryCorps is about inspiring us to listen, to tell, to preserve, to remember, and to share our stories with each other.

I love listening to the stories on NPR. Some are so touching, it really makes you wish you had done the same. Even though my stories and my family's stories don't seem so deep and important, they should be to us!
