52 Projects Calls For Participation

Brought My Lunch

  • Brought My Lunch is a photo group to showcase the lunch you brought to work. The goal is to create an incentive to 1) bring lunch to work (instead of buying expensive, less healthy meals around the office) and 2) to bring better lunches to work, lunches that are worthy of not just eating, but photographing. So pack that lunch, break out your camera, and submit your photos to the group pool.

Serious Sandwiches

I love sandwiches. The above is a picture of a sandwich that I made with care, and ate with abandon. Good bread, turkey, bacon, hummus, tomato and red onion. It was a seriously delicious sandwich, and so I was glad to be able to post it to the Serious Sandwich Flickr group, run by Midtown Lunch's Zach Brooks. The Flickr group is dedicated to collecting and showcasing photos of sandwiches from around the world. The best sandwiches get written up in Zach's Serious Sandwich column at Serious Eats. So get to work on either making a good sandwich or finding a fantastic sandwich joint, remember to photograph your creations/finds before you scarf them down, and post the photos to the Serious Sandwich Flickr group.
